Sunrise Inc., a leading Japanese animation production studio, in conjunction with Azoland Pictures, announced today they will be screening Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin “Blue-Eyed Casval” and “Artesia’s Sorrow” for only one night at the Downtown Independent theater in Los Angeles, CA on October 31, 2015 at 6:00 PM to coincide with the Japanese theatrical release of Episode 2. Both episodes will be screened with English Dialogue produced by SUNRISE with NYAV Post. Information about the theater is available at www.downtownindependent.com. Tickets will go on sale October 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM (Pacific) and will be able to be purchased at http://gundam.bpt.me. Promotional goods and exclusive merchandise are still being discussed and are to be determined based on availability.
With a history spanning over 35 years, “Gundam” is recognized worldwide and has become a staple of Japanese animation. Based on a mega-hit manga created by Mobile Suit Gundam character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin is now being adapted to an original video animation and is the latest installment that is set in the Universal Century timeline.
