Japanese Rock Band, ELLEGARDEN, that made a comeback after a 10 year hiatus announced that they will hold a live streaming event on YouTube on August 28th, 8 p.m. (Japan Time).
The idea of this live streaming event was initiated after various events and festivals in which they were scheduled to perform got delayed and canceled due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. “However, we want our fans to see our performance”, said one of the members that eventually led to the idea of organizing a live streaming.
■Message from Takeshi Hosomi (Vo. & Gt.)
We decided to hold a live streaming event on YouTube after all live events in this year got canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to greet all of you who have been very enthusiastic to meet us at the events. Maybe things will get better in 2021 or slightly farther in the future. We don’t know precisely yet at this moment. But we hope that we can make up for the amount of time to have fun that has been put off due to the current condition that’s been happening in the world
The event will have that element of excitement as if you are opening a box of a present.
So, make sure to be there!
